Viceroy Dervish Pasha sets up his final attack inside the empire against Safiye Sultan's supporters Mehmet Giray Khan and Zülfikar Aga, while Handan Sultan fails to stop Kösem Sultan from revealing a past scandal to Sultan Ahmed's knowledge that leads Hagi Aga to change sides. Hagi Aga learns about the forbidden love affair between Dervish Pasha and Handan Sultan, before Kösem blackmails Handan Sultan with the execution of the viceroy.
